Established 28 years ago, ‘Hobbit Hole’ with its easy Private Parking area,is situated on a hill, at the end of a Private Drive. It is ‘comfortable’ with ground floor en-suite bedrooms, wherein you can dream with abandonment on superb beds. The comfort zone includes a silver-tray service (all beverages/light refreshments at any time complementary), arise in the morning to enjoy a full English Breakfast, Continental or Vegetarian.
WIFI internet connection and “sense of humour” is on the house! Hobbit Hole’ is just a short drive away from Herne Bay Golf Course. Within easy walking distance of Herne Bay’s famous Coast-line and the Saxon Way Walk to the medieval Reculver Towers. No children under 13

This small comfortable guest house is tucked away surrounded by a peaceful rose and lavender garden, where refreshments are easily served on the garden patio! (Gratis!) Our little Hobbit Hole is famous for its gardens and holds several awards for the best roses in Kent, which is known as the “Garden of England”.
There are a variety of books at your fingertips, , a relaxing lounge area with board games, a Baby Grand piano if you wish to exercise your fingers, a TV room – no TVs in the bedrooms, apologies for that.
No smoking inside, in the garden is OK – 0r if it is bitterly cold and you need a puff – over the stable door which lets you out of the Kitchen!
Within 8 miles is the historic City of Canterbury, (The City Shield reads: ‘Mother of All England’) a prolific hive of activity, including Grand Theatre, Classical Musical Concerts, Art Exhibitions and Auctions etc. etc!
Nearby, within a easy 12 minute walk there are several restaurants at reasonable cost. A short 5 minute gallop will take you to a first class pub’ called ‘The Plough’ becoming well known for its excellent food, beer and entertainment.
Medieval Castles, Colourful Gardens, Golf Courses, Saxon Way Walk, Zoos and Wildlife Parks, Indeed there is plenty of sightseeing to keep one moving and entertained day after day!
Herne Bay is a seaside town in Kent, Southeast England.
